During the winter months on the occasion that we have a winter storm if we have to skip your scheduled day there are no credits given for these skipped days. It stays the same because the next time we come to your yard to pick-up there is twice the amount of poop. No matter what the poop does not go away and your dog will still go.
We are obligated to pick up all waste from your yard. If it snows on your regularly scheduled day we will get to you close to your missed day or on your next scheduled pick-up.
We want nothing more than to efficiently clean-up your yard. Please keep in mind that if the poop is hidden or frozen to the ground we cannot pick it up, but it will be removed on your next scheduled pick-up. The snow and ice storms frustrate us as much as it does you.
Please make sure that all access to your yard is cleared from debris and snow so we can enter safely into your yard.
In the event that you want to be put on hold for the winter months please be advised that there will be a Spring Clean-up fee upon your re-start. You must call the office the minimum 3 days prior to your scoop day to inform us that you want to be put on hold.
We do not recommend putting your account on hold because this winter policy, which has been in effect for 14 years and works in your favor. Thank you for your consideration.
